Red Trinity encompasses so many different things it was important for us to represent this within our photoshoots. As a brand we have committed to sharing stories through the use of imagery, hoping that you might be able to see yourself in one of those stories. Boho, eclectic, inclusive, a little goth, eccentric... the list goes on and on. We cannot wait to share all these stories with you.

The first one is our 'Journey to Woodstock' photoshoot. We imagined a young women, in 1969, journeying to the Woodstock music festival. She wears bright and expressive kimonos that represent the freedom of the 70s, light wash denim and linens. She embodies the love and freedom that was Woodstock. Isabella wears our custom denim jackets, both in light wash denim.

Sustainability

At Red Trinity sustainability is a topic that we are extremely passionate about. Working in fashion for the past twenty years I have seen firsthand the downside to manufacturing and producing clothing and decided that when the time came for me to start my own business, I did not want to part of the problem, but rather, part of the solution! The question I would often ask myself is; “how can Red Trinity best serve our community while also producing beautifully crafted pieces?” When embarking on this journey, I began by looking into sourcing denim directly from a manufacturer but early on discovered that this would not align with my sustainability mindset and business principles. That was when I made the bold decision to source second-hand denim that would otherwise end up in our landfills, contributing to one of New Zealand’s biggest cause of waste. Giving these garments a new life means that no two jackets are the same, making them incredibly unique! I handprint images on recycled bedsheets, that are then sewn onto each jacket, as well as utilizing vintage fabrics that I carefully source. I’m excited to share more of our creating processes with you all very soon, but for now, I wanted to share our sustainability values. These values lay the foundation of what Red Trinity is; we want to ensure complete transparency about how and where our products are made, committed to slow fashion principles meaning that we are committed to producing quality-made products rather than time-based. We want to encourage slow production so that you can invest your money into items that are well made and long-lasting.

I’m excited to share more of our creating processes with you all very soon, but in the meantime, I wanted to share two of our core sustainability values at Red Trinity. These values lay the foundation of what Red Trinity is and will become! Firstly I wanted to ensure complete transparency about how and where are products are made, I will be sharing a photo journal of creating our jackets, pillows, and candles from start to finish. Our second sustainable principle is the commitment to slow fashion, meaning that we are committed to creating quality-made products rather than time-based ones. I want to encourage slow production so that you can invest your money into items that are well made and long-lasting and also contribute to the wellbeing of our planet.
